The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is looking for approximately
4,469 nusf of office space plus adjoining 5,500 nusf warehouse space in the City of Visalia plus
five (5) exclusive and four (4) non-exclusive parking spaces to Code.
Buildings submitted must: 1) Be Asbestos Hazard-free upon occupancy; 2) Accommodate State plans,
specifications, seismic safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable codes
(California Building Code & Title 24); 3) Be close to public transportation; and 4) Comply with
Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. The State of California will, where cost
effective, give preference to those buildings which demonstrate LEED or Energy Star compliance.
