Description
DeKalb County Government (the County) is soliciting bids for ITB No. 2026-064-ITB Scott Candler Water
Treatment Plant Filter Media Replacement from responsible bidders.
¿ This project focuses on rehabilitating the existing filters within the plant. It is a capital improvement
effort aimed at preserving reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
¿ The County's goal is to meet EPA MCL for six PFAS compounds by October 2029. Starting in 2027,
systems must begin reporting PFAS levels.
