This letter is to advise all prospective bidders of the following contract addendum:
Proposal Changes:
• On sheet S-35 (bid form), updated Line No 13 Temporary Mulching to reflect Unit in
Acres.
• Replaced PRB.32276 Proposal document with PRB.32276 Proposal_Addendum 1.
Additional Questions Submitted:
1. 404 Permit list restrictions. Do we follow and what applies on page 157?
Answer: 404 must be followed. Nos. 1 thru 4 do not apply. Trout does not apply
2. Rock removal is referred to in plans for work with piers. What is the pay item?
Answer: Payment for removal is incidental to work of construction of piers.
3. Construction signs placed on Hwy 19 W, how will they be paid?
Answer: Traffic Control Special Provision is included in proposal. See TC-1 thru
TC-3.
“Except for the specific pay items included in this provision, no separate or
direct payment will be made for supplying traffic control, traffic control
devices, or signing as all such work will be considered incidental to the various
other pay items included in this contract.”

4. The plans indicate causeways extending around both new piers and back
to each abutment. Since there is currently no access from the west side,
would it be permissible to install temporary pipes and connect the two
causeways to create an all-weather crossing? At this time, it is not feasible
to access the west side with dump trucks, concrete trucks, or girder
deliveries. Upon completion of the project, all temporary access materials
would be fully removed and the area restored in accordance with project
requirements.
Answer: This would be considered a modification of the approved plans and
would need to be approved by the permitting agency. This question will be
submitted to the permitting agency for further clarification.
5. What is the proposed unit of payment for temporary mulching?
Answer: Acre

Proposal_Addendum 1 in your bid package. You will also be required to sign page S-1 Addenda
to acknowledge the issued addendum. Failure to submit the correct proposal document and not
signing page S-1 Addenda may result in the rejection of your bid
