BID #26-08, Resurfacing of East Atlanta Road

The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for asphalt milling, and hot-mix asphalt placement for resurfacing of East Atlanta Road, from Cotton Indian Creek Bridge to Fairview Road. This includes but is not limited to traffic control (including temporary striping), asphalt patching, milling (2 inches), resurfacing, the placement of bituminous tack, and placement of pavement marking. Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation. Also, Contractors must currently be registered and active with SAM.gov.
Proposals will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on November 5, 2025. Late bids will not be considered nor returned. Proposals submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person will be received by Henry County, Purchasing Department, located at 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Electronic bids are to be submitted through the County¿s eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga). Emailed or faxed proposals will not be considered.
Proposals may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
