Amendment 0002 - 9/17/2025: Provides an update to the PWS to clarify the handling of weather delays during installation. See PWS Section 3.1 for the full change. No other changes have been made to the solicitation or associated attachments. Additional questions have been answered. Amendment 0001 - 9/4/2025: Provides updates based off the responses and suggestions in the questions received by offerors prior to the August 22nd deadline. See attached document FPS-117_RFP_Changes_Amendment 0001 Excel for list of changes. --- Update - 8/21/2025: Subject: Important Information Regarding Access to Technical Documents. This update pertains to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated technical documents for this solicitation. It has been determined that access to certain technical documents referenced in the PWS is required for proposal preparation. These documents are now available for download within SAM.gov. Please note that access to these documents is restricted to offerors registered with the Joint Certification Program (JCP) Office. This requirement is due to the unclassified military technical data contained within the documents. If you are interested in this solicitation and are registered with the JCP Office, you can request access to the documents in SAM.gov. Upon verification of your JCP registration, we will authorize access to the requested technical documents. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage all interested offerors to register with the JCP Office if they intend to submit a proposal. See the JCT link for additional details. --- Original Publish Date - 8/5/2025: This is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS) Program Management Office (PMO) intends to award a single five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract (with a two-year extension option IAW FAR 52.217-9) for the AN/FPS-117 Long Range Radar System. The AEWS consists of 27 operational AN/FPS-117 Long Range Radar sites across Alaska, Canada, and Hawaii. This acquisition will be conducted using full and open competition (FAR 6.101). Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for any amendments to this solicitation. The Government requires services for the production and installation of 55-foot composite radome assemblies, spare parts, data deliverables, travel to and from radar sites, shipping, development and delivery of training material, as well as, disassembly and disposal of the legacy radomes. Contract Details: Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), Period of Performance: Five (5) Years, with a two (2) year extension option (FAR 52.217-9), NAICS Code: 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance), Small Business Size Standard: $34 Million, Total Contract Period of Performance: Not expected to exceed nine (9) years, Pricing Arrangements: Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement. All questions regarding this solicitation are due by 22 August 2025 at 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time.
