THIS POSTING IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN RFQ OR RFP. The draft RFP is not included in this post. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for specific information for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential sources interested and sources that can provide the services that meet the requirements described below.

Tentative NAICS - 485999 Shuttle Bus Services – Transportation Services

The objective is to meet the need of transporting all involved passengers safely, efficiently and timely to and from up to 5 different locations within a 100 to a 150-mile radius of Arlington, VA 22204

Responses to this sources sought must be in writing and must address the following items:

A. Have a valid Commercial Driver's License with P (Passenger).

B. Have a minimum of two years prior experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) transporting passengers in a professional capacity.

C. Have a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examination Card.

D. Have a driving record with no more than one safety violation or at-fault accident in the past 12 months, no more than two in the past three years, and no more than three points currently. Drivers shall have no Driving under the Influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) infractions in the past five years.

E. Have a negative result on pre-employment and periodic drug screenings.

F. Very Important: The contractor shall be Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO), approved for the Department of Defense. Each DoD-approved carrier is required to maintain an agreement, party to the Military Bus Agreement (MBA), which is kept on file at the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). Refer to https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/bus.cfm for any information on this mandatory requirement. The Government is unable to accept other commercial certifications as substitutions for this mandatory requirement.

G. Provide socio-economic status per FAR Part 19.

NOTE: All vehicles must have a minimum seating capacity of 26. At least one vehicle must have a minimum seating capacity of 32.
