Project Description: Slippery Rock University, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites
Contractors to download bid documents for this project.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by a Single Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 01 31 00, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.
Work included under this Project consists of the construction of an access path and a boardwalk project. The project scope includes erosion and sedimentation control measures, grading, granular material, permeable pavers, signs, concrete, steel reinforcement, wood framing, steel connectors, and composite deck.
Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction to the satisfaction of the University, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education.
A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on May 21, 2025, at 10AM, at the Macoskey Center, 247 Harmony Road, Slippery Rock PA, 16057. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on June 12, 2025, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid.
