Daniel's Mill Remedial Project

The project at 98 East Main Street, Vernon, Connecticut, involves various tasks as detailed in the Contract Documents. The Work includes conducting hazardous material surveys, removing and disposing of asbestos and hazardous materials, managing universal and containerized wastes, and performing structural evaluations and designs by licensed professionals. It also entails installing temporary structural supports, traffic control, demolishing the former boiler room and loading dock, and excavating PCB-impacted soil. Additional activities involve interior demolition, disposing of PCB-affected building materials, scarifying concrete slabs, media blasting of interior surfaces, and removing an underground storage tank. The project also covers backfilling excavations, replacing roofing systems and masonry, installing new piers, beams, and timber decking, repairing building walls, providing temporary access stairs, and transporting generated waste materials.
