Roof Replacement for Nowell Gymnasium

The Walton County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals for roof replacement services for the Nowell Gymnasium located at 201 W. Spring Street, Monroe, Ga. 30655. Proposals will be accepted at the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2024. A mandatory Pre-Proposal conference will be held at the site at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12th. Anyone wishing to submit a proposal must attend this meeting. A bid bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount is to be enclosed with the proposal at the time of submittal. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman¿s Compensation Insurance will be required with the Walton County Board of Commissioners named as additional insured. Proposers must submit with the proposal a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized.
