WWTP Digester Repairs

Project Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Bids shall be received from qualified Bidders via PennBid for the “WWTP Digester Repairs”, and all appurtenant Work, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents on file at the office of the Authority Engineer, Peters Consultants, Inc., 2701 Columbia Boulevard, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
DATE OF OPENING BIDS: Bids shall be received by the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority online via the PennBid Program until 11:00 A.M local time on April 8, 2025 at which time they will be opened and read aloud at the office of the Authority Engineer. Bids will be reviewed at the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority Board Meeting on April 9, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. Thereafter, Bid results will be available online at: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/projects.
LOCATION OF THE WORK: Digesters are located at the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), located at 383 South Eaton Street within the Borough of Berwick, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Work for the project is outlined in the Technical Specification Section “01150 – Digester Tank Rehabilitation”. All Work shall be completed in accordance with these Contract Documents and manufacturer’s recommendations. Contractor is responsible for coordination with BAJSA to complete the work and for obtaining all required permits to complete the work.
