NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:

Lift Station 3 Sewer Shed Rehab

At 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original, two (2) copies and (1) electronic copy on flash drive of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, with label from page 2 of this solicitation affixed and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 10:00 A.M., prevailing time on Tuesday, October 6, 2026

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor to clean, televise (i.e. CCTV), and make the recommended repairs to gravity mains prioritized within Lift Station 3 Sewer Shed planning document. The City is seeking qualified contractors to respond to this Invitation to Bid.

Pre-Bid Meeting and Questions

Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, September 14, 2026 at the City of Lake Wales City Hall Commissions Chambers at 201 W. Central Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Access to the project site will be available after the pre- bid meeting. No project questions will be entertained at this time. All questions must be placed in writing as outlined in the bid documents. Questions deadline will be on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 4:00 pm. The final addendum will be posted Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their response.
