Description


Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of street and drainage improvements to Gilman Road and Trudie Road, Pierce County, Georgia until 10:00 AM (local time) Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and read. This project shall be financed with Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) funding.
The meeting will be held at the Pierce County Board of Commissioners Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Donna Golding, County Clerk for the Pierce County Board of Commissioners, 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5, Blackshear, Georgia 31516 Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Pierce County may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.
The Scope of Work Includes: Street and Drainage Improvements Gilman Road and Trudie Road in Pierce County
All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of Pierce County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for Pierce County. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed.
