The Municipality of the County of Kings is seeking qualified contractors to supply, install, and commission a new roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) panel system at the Administration Building, located in the County of Kings, Nova Scotia. This initiative forms part of the County’s commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
Supply, and installation of a complete roof-mounted photovoltaic panelling system.
All structural and electrical integration required to ensure full compliance with the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) and all relevant standards.
Coordination with existing building systems and infrastructure to tie the new system directly into the structure. Existing Roof Warranty to be maintained.
Provision of all required permits, inspections, and certifications as stipulated in the Tender Documents, which shall form the basis of the final contract.
Inclusion of a detailed project schedule with the tender submission, which will be used in the evaluated bid review.
The successful contractors will demonstrate proven experience with similar installations, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to deliver the project in accordance with the established schedule and specifications.
