Project Description: Broward County Purchasing Division will be issuing an Invitation to Bid in the next several weeks for the below project. This is a Notice of Future Solicitation Opportunity only. If interested in submitting a bid for the project, please ensure your firm is registered with Broward County (thru Euna, aka BPRO) under the category code “Demolition”.
Summary - Scope of Work:
Scope includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for the Demolition of the Gore Building located at 201 West Broward Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a 5-story concrete and masonry structure of approximately 92,000 S.F. Refer to the following files: Summary - Scope of Work (including list of Drawings) and Drawings.
The future solicitation will require at least the following: (Vendor is cautioned that this is a summary only and the full advertised solicitation must be reviewed).
- County/State License Requirements (State Certified General Contractor or County Class “A” General Building Contractor)
- Mandatory Site Visit Attendance (date and time will be in final advertised solicitation).
- Bonding Requirements (5% bid bond; 100% payment and performance bond).
- Project-specific insurance requirements.
- County Standard Agreement for Construction: template is available here. The full advertised solicitation will include the final construction agreement.
