Bid Description:
10 V.S.A. § 6603c and 10 V.S.A. § 6618 requires that a portion of the Solid Waste Management Assistance Fund be used for municipalities to meet requirements for proper management and diversion of household hazardous waste and landfill banned materials as outlined in their Solid Waste Implementation Plans.
Each year, the State awards approximately $614,000 to support municipalities through Participant Support Cost Awards. The awards are based on a set formula explained in the “Funding Allocation” section of this RFA.
DEC is seeking applications for the Fiscal Year 2025 Solid Waste Implementation Program (SWIP).
