Overview

Summary

Escambia County IT Department seeks quotes for CIS Albert MD Monitoring Primary Sensor.

Background

The Albert Sensor is a passive Intrusion Detection System (IDS) offered by CIS. It monitors network traffic based on threat signatures and detects malicious activity. The sensors are deployed on local networks and provide security alerts for cyber threats. Albert's unique signature set is updated daily, and when a threat is detected, an alert is sent to the CIS 24x7 SOC. It is used for security monitoring, including for election systems.
