Description: The Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District on behalf of the Lake George Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Coalition (Coalition), seeks a professional services contract for a project manager to facilitate regular meetings and assist the Coalition in the development and implementation of strategies to advance protection of the watershed’s hemlocks. Project management services include, but are not limited to, the following.
Estimation of work is between 5 – 20 hours per month. Contract term is for the 2025 calendar year. At no time shall the successful applicant consider or be considered an employee of the District, the Coalition or any of its members. The project manager will report to the SWCD District Manager or their appointee and will engage with Coalition members to develop and refine annual work plans and will coordinate regularly with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s forest health staff and the NYS Hemlock Initiative’s conservation team.
