Training and Technical Assistance for Faith Based and Nonprofit Service Providers

The DOS Office for Faith and Nonprofit Development Services (OFNDS) administers capacity building funds in alignment with the mission and vision of Governor Kathy Hochul’s re-imagining of the Office. OFNDS calls for the provision of training and technical assistance (T/TA) for faith based and nonprofit service providers interested in NYS funding that require such assistance to comply with NYS funding and performance standards.

OFNDS is requesting Statements of Interest (SOIs) from organizations interested in contracting with NYS to provide T/TA services for faith based and nonprofit organizations seeking NYS funding opportunities.

The faith based and nonprofit service providers we seek to partner with provide frontline resources for low-income families and people living in poverty, direct services and supports for education and employment, and support services to vulnerable people with mental and/or physical health needs. Respondents submitting a SOI should be qualified to provide T/TA to faith and nonprofit organizations providing these types of services. Organizations should also be familiar with State funding processes including prequalification, compliance with the NYS Attorney General regulations for nonprofits, as well as unique organizational needs of the faith and nonprofit communities.
