Summary

This project will rehabilitate a portion of the Knott Interceptor, Miller Holder Trunk and Artesia Branch sewers in the City of Buena Park. The project includes the rehabilitation of 3,900 feet of 18-inch to 45-inch sewer, rehabilitation of 42 manholes, replacement of a manhole with a new 84-inch manhole and installation of two new 84-inch manholes. One new air jumper will also be installed in the City of La Palma.



Background

The Work to be performed under this Contract includes the rehabilitation of a sewer pipe. Specifically, to rehabilitate by cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) method of approximately 3,900 linear feet of 18-inch to 45-inch sewer pipe. This includes 2,500 linear feet of 42-inch vitrified clay pipe, 100 linear feet of 45-inch reinforced concrete pipe for a siphon, 1,000 linear feet of 18-inch, 24-inch, and 30-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe, and 230 linear feet of 18-inch ductile iron pipe for air jumpers.
