Lift Station 6 and Lift Station 42 Modifications
The City of St. Marys, Georgia solicits sealed proposals for the design of modifications and
improvements to “Lift Station 6 and Lift Station 42”. Proposals will be received up to and until April
29, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST at St. Marys City Hall, 418 Osborne Street, St. Marys, GA
31558. Proposals received after the specified time or received in any location other than that listed
will not be accepted.
The project includes the engineering analyses and design for the project that is more completely described
in the RFP documents available on the City of St. Marys website (www.stmarysga.gov). See the Bid
Opportunities link at the bottom of the main page.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held at 2:00 PM on April 15, 2026 at 418
Osborne Street, St. Marys, Georgia 31558 in the Council Chambers. Proposals will be received until
2:00 PM on April 29, 2026 at 418 Osborne Street, St. Marys, Georgia 31558.
Proposals must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE OR PACKAGE and clearly labeled:

The name of the company or firm submitting a bid must also be clearly marked on the outside of the
proposal package.
Questions shall be made in writing addressed to Chris Amos via email at camos@stmarysga.gov.
Deadline for submitting questions is April 17, 2026. The City of St. Marys will select the proposal
bid that in its sole discretion is the most responsive and responsible to the City. The City is not liable for
any cost incurred by vendors in the preparation of this bid.
Unauthorized contact regarding this invitation to bid with staff or elected officials may result in
disqualification. Any oral communications will be considered unofficial and non-binding on the City of
St. Marys. Vendors should rely only on written statements.
The City of St. Marys reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities and to re-
advertise, pursuant to federal and state law.
The City of St. Marys, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to
2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of
the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of
Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure
that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as
defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation
and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age,
handicap/disabled in consideration for award.
