Leduc County
Negotiated Request for Proposal
Last completed in 2022, the County seeks updated orthophoto data capture for all areas of the County which spans urban and rural areas comprised of agricultural, residential, commercial, and industrial land use types. Flying in spring 2025, aerial orthophotography imagery supports asset capture and maintenance, operational activity planning and execution, and fulfilling mapping/analysis needs.
Based upon the mixed use of the County, 25cm ground resolution (pixel size) will be required for the entire county. Subject to the Council approved budget, the County may wish to upgrade the services to 10cm ground resolution (pixel size) for the whole county, or only in specified urban areas.
Both 10cm and 25cm ground resolution (pixel size) may be required as illustrated in the generalized information maps found in the bidding system. The County has a maximum Council approved budget for this project which may require minor negotiation of a finalized scope including but not limited to ground resolution flights, to stay within budget.
