Budget:
The total Construction Cost Limitation for this project is $1,700,000.00 and is inclusive of general conditions, pre-construction services, overhead, profit, and cost of work. The estimated cost does not include any soft costs such as design services, materials testing, etc.
Scope 1 – Bookstore and Gymnasium Breezeway Repairs
This scope of work consists of performing repairs of the distressed courtyard breezeway at the Bookstore and Gymnastics in the Lone Star College North Harris campus, including removal and replacement of the brick cladding, backup wall systems, and plaster soffit, structural repairs to replace corroded breezeway steel column bases with new concrete plinth, and modification of downspouts at the breezeway columns.
Scope 2 – Gymnasium North Wall Brick Repairs
This scope of work consists of a full re-cladding of the brick masonry cavity wall at the Gymnasium north elevation in the Lone Star College North Harris campus, including removal and replacement of the brick masonry veneer, sheathing, and weather barrier, cold-formed metal studs retrofit, and cleaning and coating corroded shelf angle and/or shelf angle replacement.
