The United States (U.S.) Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Close Combat Systems (PM CCS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research. The results of this market research will be used to establish the acquisition strategy and method of procurement for potential future requirements.
The U.S. Government (USG) is seeking to identify potential sources interested in and possessing the industry technologies to support/provide the production, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, and delivery of Volcano Mine Canisters (M87A1, M88 and M89) compatible with the M139 Mine Dispenser (Volcano). NOTE: Any potential procurement for the above listed items may include Engineering Services. Interested sources that prefer to produce one or any combination of M87A1, M88, M89, are encouraged to respond. The USG anticipates meeting this requirement through one or more five-year, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity type contract(s) awarded for the procurements of Volcano Mine Canisters (M87A1, M88 & M89), and Engineering Services.
The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325920, Explosives Manufacturing. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 1345, Land Mines.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information from potential sources to support U.S. Army requirements and anticipated Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements, with deliveries starting in Fiscal Year 2029. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition and multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
