Kitchen Fire Suppression System Testing and Certification (MYC)

The State of California Military Department will accept bids until 2:00 PM on 5/12/2025 from qualified bidders offering to provide equipment, materials, labor, licenses, bonds and insurance required to provide Kitchen Fire Suppression System Testing and Certification services located at multiple National Guard Armory Sites. Work to include: The contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, bonds, and insurance to perform 3 years of Semi-Annual Inspection, Testing, and Certification of the kitchen fire suppression system at eight (8) National Guard Armory sites. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title ¿BID FOR EVENT# 35093 - DO NOT OPEN¿.

Bidders are not required to visit the worksite.¿Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the local conditions, to accurately measure area and ensure the actual area of work for the preparation of their bid.¿Contractors bidding without visiting the worksite, do so at their own risk.¿Bidders can schedule a worksite visit by contacting SSG Javier Hernandez at Javier.hernandez1@cmd.ca.gov or (562) 594-1500.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-16 - Fire Protection Contractor license, or subcontract to one.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 4/28/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 35093.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 5/12/2025 at 2:00 PM.
