Moose Jaw Sprinkler Tree Rebuild
Synopsis:
The Western Development Museum (WDM) invites qualified fire protection contractors to submit proposals for the modernization and rebuilding of the existing sprinkler riser tree and associated fire protection components at the WDM Moose Jaw location, 50 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
The Moose Jaw facility opened in 1974, and portions of the sprinkler riser tree, alarm check valves, supervisory devices, and trim piping have reached end of useful life. The intent of this project is to restore long-term system reliability, improve inspection and maintenance access, and reduce life-safety and operational risk associated with aging fire protection infrastructure.
This project is focused on modernization and replacement of existing sprinkler tree components only. The scope is not intended to expand system coverage or alter the design densities of the existing sprinkler system.
