Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement Notice:

This is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to complete a culvert replacement near Sheho, Saskatchewan. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period with a specified completion date as early as August 15, 2026 and is expected to be advertised within the next 2 weeks. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work.

Description of the Procurement:

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF TWO 1 050 mm DIAMETER SMOOTH WALL STEEL PIPE CULVERTS BY THE BORING METHOD, at two locations on Highway No. 16 near Sheho; for a TOTAL LENGTH OF 56 m.

Estimated Quantities:
The following quantities are initial design estimates and are subject to change in the issued tender documents.

1 – 1 050 mm x 27 m Smooth Wall Steel Pipe Culvert
1 – 1 050 mm x 29 m Smooth Wall Steel Pipe Culvert
Riprap Type 2 – 35 m3
Sideslope Repair and Earthwork– Combined area of approximately 250 m2 and a volume of approximately 375 m3

Completion Date: August 15, 2026

Bidders may request a debriefing session from Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement by emailing constructionsbp@gov.sk.ca within 30 days after the award notification date. The intention of the debriefing is to aid the Bidder by identifying areas of improvement that may be applied to subsequent procurement opportunities.
