Synopsis:

Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement Notice:

This is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to complete culvert replacements near Dundurn, Saskatchewan. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period. The work is expected to take place as early as May 2026, with a specified completion date as early as June 12, 2026. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work.

Description of the Procurement:

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF TWO 900 mm DIAMETER POLYMER LAMINATED CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE CULVERTS by open excavation of the Roadway on Highway No. 211, approximately 25 m east of its junction with Highway No. 11; for a TOTAL LENGTH OF 46 m.

Estimated Quantities:

The following quantities are initial design estimates and are subject to change in the issued tender documents.

Proposed culvert: 2 – 900 mm x 23 m long, Polymer Laminated Corrugated Steel Pipe, 68 mm x 13 mm corrugations, 2.0 mm wall thickness
Granular Base Course – 35 t
Asphalt Concrete – 15 t
Riprap Type 2 – 25 m3
Granular Backfill – 165 t

Approximate Embankment Height = 1.8 m

Deposit with each Tender - 5% of total bid

Bidders may request a debriefing session from Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement by emailing constructionsbp@gov.sk.ca within 30 days after the award notification date. The intention of the debriefing is to aid the Bidder by identifying areas of improvement that may be applied to subsequent procurement opportunities.
