Description

Commercial Strategy Embedded Entrepreneur Initiative (EEI) – Proposers Day

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Commercial Strategy seeks to (1) make appropriate, high-impact technologies, developed via agency programs, commercially available for purchase by the Department of Defense (DoD), and (2) strengthen companies that service DoD needs. The Embedded Entrepreneur Initiative (EEI) is one of several initiatives designed to support these goals and has demonstrated success over the past few years. The EEI seeks to connect the strong technical talent resident in DARPA performer teams with equally strong business talent to bring new capabilities to market. The program provides go-to-market expertise including tools, advice, and business acumen to augment exceptional technical expertise. EEI investment supports the development of a robust and deliberate commercialization strategy for selling products to the government and commercial markets and positions DARPA awardees to attract U.S. investment. For more details on the EEI program and its proven success, visit the website here: https://eei.darpa.mil/.
