Proposals are requested from the three designated manufacturers (AstroTurf, Field Turf, and Shaw) with certified installation General contractors an “A” or “B” California Contractor License to complete all of the scope of work per the DSA approved drawings and specifications. This is a DSA prevailing wage project.
Only the three specified Manufacturers, AstroTurf, Field Turf, and Shaw (with associated General Contractors) Firms that are pre-qualified will then have their proposals considered for this project. The District is only accepting proposals through the three specified synthetic turf manufacturers per Request for proposals numbered RFP 25-07a (AstroTurf), RFP 25-07b (Field Turf), and RFP 25-07c (Shaw). No other alternatives or “equal’s” will be considered representing any other manufacturers. The District intends to award a single contract to the selected Turf Company through a Joint Power Authority (JPA) Program, such as Sourcewell, Omnia, or equivalent acceptable public purchasing program. Contractors may submit multiple proposals to each of the three Turf Manufacturers.
Although proposals are requested utilizing the Joint Powers of Authority (JPA) program, this is still also a CUPCCAA project. All General Contractors submitting proposals to the Turf Manufacturers are required to be on the District’s CUPCCAA list of qualified contractors.
