The Parker Indian Health Center, Parker, AZ and the Peach Springs Health Center, Peach Springs, AZ, are located on the North West side of the State of Arizona. The Colorado River Service Unit is the primary provider of comprehensive direct and high priority contract inpatient, ambulatory care, preventive and community health, and environmental health services for members of the Colorado River Indian Reservation, Chemehuevi Indian Reservation, Hualapai Indian Reservation, Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Moapa Indian Reservation. The CRSU serves over 13,000 members in the tribal communities of Parker, AZ; Peach Springs, AZ; Supai, AZ; Havasu Lake, CA; Moapa, NV.
The IHS continues to experience difficulties in recruiting and retaining radiology specialist who can provide radiology services within the IHS medical facilities. Given the current availability of teleradiology/telemedicine technology, the IHS is pursuing contracts to provide these services within the IHS facilities.
The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service intends to issue an emergency sole source award to All Valley Imaging for teleradiology services IAW 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency for three (3) months of Teleradiology services.
