REQUIREMENTS FOR TENSILE TESTER
The Chemical Analysis Laboratory needs a tensile tester to test sealants and adhesives per government regulations for tensile test and peel strength. The Contractor shall provide to the 402d Maintenance Support Group (MXSG), Robins Air Force Base, all materials, parts, travel, tools, training, and labor necessary to provide and install one tensile tester. The tester should possess the following capabilities/characteristics:
• 30kN frame capacity (120V – US Plug)
• Table Top Frame
• Test speed range (.001 – 1016 mm/min)
• Removable load cells
• Removable grips
• Additional 500N load cell
• 30kN load cell
• Pneumatic grips
• Mechanical Grips
• Ability to connect LVDT type compression module
• Tensile software that supports Windows 12
• Installation of the tester
• Training on how to operate the tensile tester for up to 5 people
• Video Extensometer
The Government will require a Commercial manual and a Calibration Certificate for the tester.
The tensile tester should come with at least a 3 year extended warranty to cover:
- Parts, labor and travel for repair/replacement for covered items
- Priority telephone support during normal business hours
- Direct verification reminders
- Software update notifications
- Downloadable software updates
- Online access to calibration certificates and service history
- System diagnostics
- Priority response for onsite repairs for defects in materials and workmanship
The testile tester will be installed at the following address:

Need date: The tester should be available 12-14 weeks after receiving the order, or earlier if possible.
