2025 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT DESIGN SERVICES
SOLICITATION NO: PS-00183
The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering design services and accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) in connection with the 2025 Water Main Replacement Design Services Contract, which will include the replacement of small water main pipelines for unspecified projects which will require a Scope of Services to be performed by a qualified consultant(s) on a work order basis.
It is anticipated that SAWS will select multiple firms for multiple unspecified contracts totaling $9 million, as a result of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Contracts are anticipated to be assigned 7 to 12 sites each, totaling from 7,000 to over 10,000 LF per contract. Sites selected represent the Priority 1 sites needed to support SAWS’ Water Stewardship Initiative to manage main break levels. All mains are small diameter with the majority of the mains being 6-8 inch AC, PVC or Cast Iron.
