RFI RESPONSE Please advise if the contractor is limited to a certain area to set up the crane. The contractor proposes to set up staging and assembly on the parking lot side (See proposed site layout below). A pick plan will need to be submitted and the approval will come from the Safety Department when the contract is awarded. The contractor is planning to assemble the fans on the ground before lifting them in position to install into the tower, is there an area allowed close to the tower for staging/assembly? We propose to stage where the crane area will be located as well. No issues with staging in that area. Please advise if the contractor will be responsible for taking out and reinstalling the bird screen.- this needs to be out of the way during construction. Yes. The Contractor is responsible.
