Subject: The City intends to designate Air Centers of Florida as a sole source provider for genuine Ingersoll Rand
compressed air system parts, service, and related support for existing City equipment.
The City of Mount Dora intends to award a procurement as a Single Source Procurement in accordance with
its Purchasing Policy Manual, Section 3.4-1(G). Any responses received in reference to this Notice will be for
the sole purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the City. This
is not a solicitation, and there is not a solicitation available.
A Single Source Procurement is a purchase that is directed to one (1) source because of standardization,
warranty, or other factors, which for justifiable reasons, is found to be most advantageous for the City, even
though other competitive sources may be available. A Single Source Procurement is a non-competitive
procurement method.
Interested vendors are encouraged to notify the Purchasing Manager in writing and provide their company
name, address, contact name, contact email, and documentation demonstrating their ability to provide the
requested goods and services. Responses should include documentation confirming the vendor is
authorized to provide genuine Ingersoll Rand compressed air system parts and services within Lake
County, Florida. All responses must be submitted by email to the Purchasing Manager identified above by
the "Response Due By" date and time.
The determination not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this Notice is solely within
the discretion of the City Manager for purchase amounts of $100,000.00 or less, and at the discretion of the
City of Mount Dora City Council for purchase amounts exceeding $100,000.00.

Procurement details: The City of Mount Dora intends to designate Air Centers of Florida as a sole source provider for
genuine Ingersoll Rand compressed air system parts, service, and related support for existing City equipment.
The City currently operates Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment and requires genuine factory replacement parts
and qualified service to maintain the equipment and support continued operation of the facility.
Ingersoll Rand has identified Air Centers of Florida as its master distributor for Lake County, Florida, and the sole
source provider within the applicable territory for genuine Ingersoll Rand compressed air system sales, service, parts,
and installations.

Justification: Air Centers of Florida is the sole source provider for genuine Ingersoll Rand compressed air system parts
and services within Lake County, Florida. The City requires genuine factory replacement parts and qualified service for
its existing Ingersoll Rand equipment. According to documentation provided by Ingersoll Rand, Air Centers of Florida
is the master distributor serving Lake County and the sole source provider for genuine Ingersoll Rand compressed air
system sales, service, parts, and installations within the applicable territory.
