City of Wetaskiwin

In an effort to strengthen the region’s tourism presence, the City and County are seeking proposals from experienced consultants or firms to develop a Joint Regional Tourism Strategy. This strategy will serve as a guiding framework to align tourism efforts, identify shared assets, and unlock new opportunities for development, promotion, and investment. It will also explore ways to increase regional visibility, improve the visitor experience, and build capacity for sustainable tourism.
The successful proponent will engage with both municipalities and key regional stakeholders to deliver a forward-looking, practical roadmap that reflects the unique character of the Wetaskiwin region and lays the foundation for coordinated destination marketing and brand development.
