The Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation owns and operates four (4) Indelt Videotape Robots. The Videotape Robots are housed in the Video Preservation Lab and are responsible for over 60% of the digitization output of the Video Lab and thus the NAVCC as a whole. The purpose of this procurement is to assist the Library in accomplishing part of the Library’s strategic goal to “acquire, preserve, and provide access to a universal collection of knowledge and the record of America’s creativity.”
This BPA contract is for the purchase of new and refurbished critical parts for the Library’s four (4) Indelt Videotape Robots. Specific orders will be placed for parts.
This was a sole source award and the J&A and draft SOW were publically posted.
