Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force
and effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the
additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM 1: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q1: Would a Florida State Specialty Marine Contractor license be acceptable for bidding on this project, as the work is within
the scope of that license?
A1: Yes. A valid Florida State Specialty Marine Contractor license is acceptable for this project.
Updated: Local licenses required: Certified/Registered General, Certified Specialty Structure, or Certified Marine
Q2: Can you please provide the required pile depth for this project?
A1: Refer to Construction Note 2 on Sheet 4 of the Plans, which states:
"All piles supporting timber structures shall have a minimum penetration of 8' or 40%, whichever is greater."
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260669.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
