City of Edgerton, Kansas | 2026 Street Preservation Program – Chip Seal Project

Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Edgerton 2026 STREET PRESERVATION PROGRAM (Chip Seal Project) will be received by the City of Edgerton at 404 East Nelson Street (PO Box 255), Edgerton, Kansas 66021, until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of approximately 10,990 Square Yards of Chip Seal surface treatment in the residential portion of Edgerton. The Base Bid consists of the following approximate major quantities of work:

1. CRS-1H Emulsified Asphalt 3,847 Gallons

2. 3/8" x 1/4" Trap Rock Cover Material 132 Tons

3. Manipulation (Chip Seals) 10,990 S.Y.

4. Sweeping 1 L.S.

5. Traffic Control 1 L.S.

6. Mobilization 1 L.S.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price and lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Schedule Proposal.
