The 821 CRG On Travis AFB, CA, has a requirement for the MOSKITO TI Laser Range Finder. Air Force weather doctrine AFMAN 15-111 para 4.11.1. requires weather personnel to have day and nighttime markers for any visibility reference tools. This specific laser range finder can observe 10,000 m or greater distances and withstand harsh environmental conditions such as dust and humidity. These capabilities will be pivotal in determining the visibility conditions in the austere environments where the CRW requires weather forces to operate. Unless determined otherwise, the vendor will provide the following: Nine (9) Moskito TI Laser Range Finder.
