PUBLIC NOTIFICATION: SOLICITATION W519TC-25-R-DV01 SPOT SALE OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS:



Pine Bluff Arsenal’s Qualified Recycle Program (QRP) is currently accepting bids for the one-time spot sale of the following Recycle Commodities. The QRP makes no representation concerning the proportion of specific material types or percentage of foreign matter.



Scrap Metal: Approximately 750 Tons Lead Acid Batteries Approximately 33.9 Tons



Rail Iron: Approximately 93 Tons Used Motor Oil: Approximately 8,250 Gallons



Aluminum: Approximately 31 Tons Used Mineral Oil: Approximately 1,500 Gallons



Cardboard Baled: Approximately 5 Lots of 50 Tons Each



Materials are located at the Pine Bluff Arsenal’s Waste Management Recycle Division QRP facility: Pine Bluff Arsenal, JMPB-PW-WMRD, 10020 Kabrich Circle, Pine Bluff, AR 71602



Purchaser will be responsible for all material handling equipment, containers, and vehicles needed to collect and transport the materials. Purchaser employees will be required to follow the Arsenal’s security and safety protocols.



The estimated amounts listed above are provided to give perspective buyers an awareness of a rough order of magnitude for planning. Buyer will be responsible for the loading of the materials directly into the contractor provided open top trailer, truck, or other contactor provided container at the agreed upon collection point(s) located at PBA.



The spot sale contract will be awarded to a bidder, based on the highest offered price to the Army and the bidder’s ability to remove all recyclables from PBA within 180 calendar days after award of the spot sale contract. The Army anticipates awarding the spot sale contract around the 25 April 2025 timeframe. Materials must be removed completely from the PBA installation within 180 calendar days after the award of the spot sale contract
