The TOWN OF WRENTHAM, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Lighting Upgrades - Sweatt Park at in Wrentham, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by JOHN MURPHY JR. ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING, INC..
The Project consists of but not limited to: Installation includes walkway lighting, sports lighting, and branch circuit wiring. The scope of work also covers the integration of a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system with the town hall. Fiber cabling between the town hall and Sweatt Park will be installed by others, while all fiber optic cabling, wiring, and testing within Sweatt Park is the responsibility of this contractor.
To ensure accurate accounting and documentation, the Awarding Authority will administer the construction using BidDocs’ construction software. This is a contractual requirement; no alternative software will be accepted. The Awarding Authority will pay for the associated software costs, not the Contractor.
The work is estimated to cost $175,000.00.
All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 04/14/2026 at 5:00PM EDT for general bids.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30§39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

General Bids will be received until 17 April 2026 at 2:00PM EDT and publicly opened online, forthwith.
General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the TOWN OF WRENTHAM. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.
