Weslaco ISD is currently accepting Qualification Statements for the above listed Design Build Project.
The Design-Build Method was approved by the Weslaco ISD School Board during the Regular Board Meeting on August 17, 2026. This selection method involves a two-step process. In Phase I the School Board will select up to a maximum of five (5) vendors; only the selected vendor(s) will be eligible for participation in Phase II of this process.
Qualification Statements must be submitted electronically thru IONWAVE/EUNA. Mailed, Faxed or Hand Delivered packages will
not
be accepted.
All Qualification responses will be opened on the date and time specifically listed in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Qualification Statement opening will be conducted virtually through the use of a Google Meeting. This virtual opening is available to the public at which time all RFQ's will be opened and only the vendor name will be read out loud. Our electronic bid system ION Wave will not accept submittals after the published date and time. This opening will be streamed through the use of a Google Meet. The link will be posted on our website at www.wisd.us/resources/bids-and-proposals Weslaco ISD is not responsible for submittals not meeting the deadline due to technical difficulties or other uncontrolled events. **Please contact Baldemar Garcia, Director of Purchasing at the Weslaco ISD Business Office (956) 969-6572 if you have any questions or issues regarding this proposal.** The selection of these vendors will take place at a public school board meeting. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept, reject any and/or all qualification statements, waive minor technicalities, or to award a contract to the most responsible offeror which best serves the interest of the District.
