INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE- Smart Shooter (SMASH) 2000L Optics and Spare Parts

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to SmartShooter Inc., 13405 Elevation Lane, Herndone, VA 20171, to provide all products and support required by the statement of requirement (SOR) for SMASH 2000L fire control optics. (NAICS) code is 333310 – Commercial And Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing.

Brief Description of Requirement: The purpose of this requirement is to procure six (6) Smart Shooter SMASH 2000L (SMASH 3000) Fire Control Optics and one (1) comprehensive spare parts and field maintenance package for the 42d Security Forces Squadron (42 SFS) at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL. This procurement provides dismounted security forces with lightweight, computerized, AI-driven fire control optics capable of automated target tracking and kinetic defeat of Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) to defend critical base infrastructure.
