	Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. E.D.T. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 135 E. Maumee Street, Adrian, Michigan 49221, for Limestone to be purchased.  All materials must meet the standards of the Michigan State Highway Department.

The City of Adrian would like to offer the option of yearly extensions with a three-year maximum to the low bidder. If both parties agree, a one-year extension of the agreement may be granted after each year up to a maximum of three years total.

All material shall be tested and shall meet MDOT Specifications. A materials testing sheet shall be included for each product being bid. 

All bids shall be firm for the period beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027 unless a one-year extension period is agreed upon by the City of Adrian and the low bidder.  

	Successful bidder must supply MSDS sheet on product being bid.

	No contract shall be made with any person, firm, or corporation in default of the city.

	The City of Adrian has a local preference policy.

	The City of Adrian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.

	All bids to be F.O.B.  Adrian, Michigan.

	All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside, "Sealed Bid  Limestone and Backfill Material.
