Project Description: The purpose of this project is to replace four City-owned culverts along the Lee Drain at the crossings of Gladiola Street, 5500 West, 5070 West, and 4800 West. This work is based on the recommendations of the Northwest Canal and Creek Study (NWCCS), published by Salt Lake County Flood Control in April 2022. The NWCCS modeled the 100-year storm event and determined that these four culverts are undersized and unable to adequately convey the associated flows. The study also identifies the additional capacity required and provides conceptual dimensions for each culvert.
