Project Description: The City of Sandy Springs (“Sandy Springs” or “City”) places great value on the programs and facilities it offers and is excited to have organizations that partner with the City’s Recreation and Parks Department to provide programs and recreational activities for the benefit of the community. The City recognizes that its Recreation and Parks Department and current program partners are not able to meet all of the recreation and park needs of a city as large and diverse as the City of Sandy Springs.
The City is offering the Fiscal Year 2026 program to collaborate with duly organized nonprofit organizations wishing to offer arts and recreational programs targeted to underserved populations and low- income communities within the City of Sandy Springs. The City is looking for innovative and creative partners to serve the communities where they reside, attend school, worship, etc. Preferred programming will be high quality and fill gaps in programming currently provided by the City and existing partners.
There will be only one category of Nonprofit Arts and Recreation Grants (“NARG”) for this cycle with a maximum amount of $15,000 award per selected nonprofit organization.
***Please note, any organizations that received funding in session 1, will not be eligible for session 2
