Brookside Mental Health Rehabilitation Center
The Project consists of the retrofit and adaptive reuse of an existing one-story, wood-framed building to create a 46-bed MHRC facility including new care suites, sleeping rooms, medical and wellness spaces, staff offices, as well as recreational and dining areas. The construction consists of hazardous material abatement, selective demolition, structural seismic upgrades, interior and exterior remodel and replacement of all MEP systems. Scope also includes upgrading commercial kitchen, installation of new fire protection, security, and access control systems, and providing new doors, windows, finishes, and anti-ligature fixtures throughout. Site improvements include new accessible entries, parking and path of travel upgrades, landscape enhancements, C3 bioretention planters, new covered patios, trash enclosure and emergency generator installation.

The budgetary estimate for the scope of work is approximately $19,000,000.
Attendance at least one, pre-bid conference / site visit is
mandatory
. Pre-Bid conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at 847B Brookside Drive, Richmond, CA. All participants are required to sign in at the site. The site visit is expected to take approximately 1.5 hours. If mandatory, failure to attend or arrival after the material start of the meeting will render bid ineligible.
