FOR
Thomas V. Nash Jr. Elementary School, Thomas W. Hamilton Elementary School and Wessagusset Elementary School
RFP-2025-ASSET MGMT-0005

Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44E(4), the Town of Weymouth (Awarding Authority), requests proposals from modular building contractors for the design and construction of modular classrooms at the Thomas V. Nash Jr. Elementary School located at 1003 Front Street, Thomas W. Hamilton Elementary School located at 400 Union Street, and Wessagusset Elementary School located at 75 Pilgrim Road, Weymouth, MA. ?The proposals must respond to the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

The project will include the design and construction of at least two modular classrooms on foundation walls, and a covered walkway canopy to the existing school buildings.? A bid alternate for a third classroom at Thomas W. Hamilton Elementary School is requested for consideration by the Awarding Authority to also be constructed if budget allows.? Estimated cost: $4,000,000.00.

RFP will be available on/after 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2024 via email request to procurement@weymouth.ma.us or by visiting the Town of Weymouth procurement office located at 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA? 02189.? ?RFP packages are free of charge. Respondents must provide all contact information.

Prospective respondents are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory walk through/ pre-proposal conference at the Thomas V. Nash Jr. Elementary School located at 1003 Front Street, Weymouth, at 11:00 am, Thomas W. Hamilton Elementary School located at 400 Union Street, Weymouth at 11:45 am, and Wessagusset Elementary School located at 75 Pilgrim Road, Weymouth at 1:00 pmon Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Questions will be accepted, in written form, by emailing procurement@weymouth.ma.us until 4:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024.? Answers will be in the form of an Addendum and will be sent to all registered bidders by 3:30 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Proposals in response to the RFP shall be signed under the pains and penalties of perjury. Proposals must be received on/before 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Town of Weymouth Procurement Office, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA 02189. All responses submitted after this time will not be accepted.
