Crystal River State Park- Boat Barn

TO BIDDERS AND PLAN HOLDERS ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT: PLEASE NOTE CONTENTS HEREIN AND INCLUDE, SIGNED, WITH YOUR BID SUBMISSION.

It will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Laurinda Micheels, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:

1. Question:  Can a pole barn with sides be an approved equal for this project?

Answer:  Please refer to Sheet G101 in the construction drawings. If the “pole barn with sides” matches what is specified under the “Carport Specific Notes”, then it may be acceptable.

2. Question:  Found in the notes, the GC puts together a SOV. Will the awarded GC be able to make a progress draw(s)?

Answer:  The GC, General Contractor, may submit a payment request to FDEP, in increments of no less than a month, for completed work.

3. Question:   Please verify the elevation and location of the benchmark.

Answer:  Please refer to the Existing Conditions C100 and Site Plan C102 in the drawing set and the included Topographic Survey. Sheet C100 and the Topographic Survey show the Benchmarks which include the elevation and locations of each. Sheet C102 provides the location of the proposed building corners.

4. Question:  Who is responsible to hire and pay for the Archeological Resource Manager who the documents say is required?

Answer:  The Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
