Laber (Henry) Agricultural Lease

A pre-proposal information meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24th at 9:00 a.m. Interested parties are to meet at the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Building (5201 St. Vrain Road, Longmont, CO 80503).

A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24th, starting promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interested Parties are asked to meet at the Laber (Henry) Open Space, located NE of the intersection of 95th Street and Ogallala Road. Longmont, Colorado. The main access to this property is located on the East side of 95th street in Longmont, CO.

Boulder County Parks & Open Space (BCPOS), Agricultural Resources Division, is seeking proposals from qualified parties to lease approximately 78 acres of the Laber (Henry) Agricultural Open Space property. This property is located Northeast of the intersection of 95th Street and Ogallala Road in Longmont (N ½ of S21-T2N-R69W). The property has two access points: from the West off 95th Street and from the East off a farm access road along Dry Creek. Previous agricultural production on the property consisted of commodity crops, hay production, and grazing. The property has been managed in alignment with organic agricultural practices for the past 10 years. Weed pressure on the property is severe and the county will assist successful proposer with weed management.
